Yes – we cater for all funding options and can even offer places to children that are a mix of both funded and non-funded if the hours that you require are more than the funded entitlement

Yes – we have snack times in the morning and afternoon sessions where a selection of healthy items are provided for the children and drinks are available at all times.

If your child is staying for a full day session, we do ask that you provide them with a packed lunch.  We do request that any packed lunch follows our Healthy Eating ethos and do not contain chocolate or sweets, no fizzy drinks or fruit juices (just water please) and no ingredients that may contain coconut or nuts (including  spreads or bars).

A typical example of a suitable lunchbox may be a yoghurt, sandwich and some fruit (not Kiwi though please and we will update the allergy exclusions when required).

Yes – As part of the initial application, we talk through any specific areas with you to understand more about each child and their preferences as well as any medical considerations that may need to be made.  We are already a coconut and nut-free environment and will adapt to others if/when required.  All staff are paediatric first-aid trained and trained in the application of epi-pens.

As part of that initial gathering of information and understanding each child as an individual, we will also aim to understand any additional needs that may also need to be considered.  Staff are trained in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adjustments can also usually be applied to assist with any physical limitations where staff are also trained on helping with a wide range of needs.

Although sessions are booked for the full length, we are always flexible in terms of early collections or late drop-offs so if a full session isn’t always required then we can discuss the different options  and whether adjustments can be made to make the timings appropriate for you and your childs needs.

We would welcome any additional questions and happy to answer anything that helps you gain a full understanding of what (and how) we offer to parents and children at the setting.  We can be contacted via E-mail, Phone, Messenger or in Person (although please do arrange a time for personal visits so that we can ensure that you can be given our full attention).  Contact details are all available here
